Do not forget the date of the social to be held by the St. John’s Sunday School on Easter Monday night in the Rectory. A silver offering will be asked for at the door. Refreshments for sale. City ice cream. Proceeds for benefit of Rectory property. The “Ads” will promenade at eight o’clock.

At the hall at North, on Thursday, April 27, at 7 p.m., for the benefit of the Cardinal Branch of the Red Cross.
The door of the hall is open wide And for seven cents you may go inside,

For seven cents you can buy such cake, As your mother herself could never make.
