Former Gloucester High School soccer coach Craig Raines, left, traveled to watch 2020 GHS graduate Carson Brooks, at right, play in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) quarterfinals on Nov. 2 for the Shenandoah University Hornets. The Hornets finished their season with a record of 10-7-3. Brooks, currently a graduate student at Shenandoah University, has played five years of collegiate soccer and has started all five seasons. Brooks is the son of Ryan and Melissa Brooks and the grandson of Mary Linda Brooks and the late Willie Brooks, and Eddie Shook and the late Kim Shook.
