Glass correspondent reports: Winter is surely making us understand that her work is not over yet. March winds are usually dreaded but backed up with ice and snow they are more dreadful than ever.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Greene are wearing smiles over the arrival of a fine boy. Weight 10 pounds and name Henry Albert.
Mr. Walter Buck, Jr., killed a hawk several days ago measuring forty-six inches across the wings.

A delightful party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erbie Hudgins in honor of their son Mike. Those present were Misses Birtie, Marie and Pearl Brown, Mary Grimstead, Evelyn Callis, Doris Foster and Margie Armistead. The boys were Charlie and Robert Brown, Mary Liam Gay, Harry and Kenneth Rowe, Owen Hurst, Frank Hudgins, Jr., and William Armistead. Games were played and refreshments were served.
