Smile Group donation

The Smile Group, which operates Smiles of Mathews, as well as other dental locations in West Point, Kiln Creek, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, recently donated baskets full of needed items to Olde Town Medical and Social Services in Williamsburg, as well as the Peninsula SPCA. “With many families enjoying this summer break, other families are struggling with how to feed their children over the next couple months,” said Elizabeth Marzan, public relations coordinator for The Smile Group. “These families rely on schools because they know that this is a place where their children will receive breakfast and lunch. Without this resource, it is really hard on these families, so we are trying to help ease that burden for some.” Dr. James Burden from The Smile Group provided more than $600 in supplies which include canned goods, boxed meals, body wash, washcloths, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, blankets, and other miscellaneous health supplies.
