“Sing for the King,” a Christian open mic event, will be held from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at the Hayes home of Joel Emerson (4737 Piney Swamp Road). This event is free and open to the public.
Participants will have 15 minutes each to perform Christian music. This event will happen rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, coolers (no alcohol) and a picnic meal. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside, but seating may be limited. This is not a talent contest. Children are encouraged to participate.
