An opening reception for Dreamweavers, the October show at the Bay School Community Arts Center, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Arts Speaks Gallery on Main Street, Mathews.
The show will feature the work of 19 artists or more, said an email release. Entries draw creative inspiration from dreams, with some magical and surreal themes.
Annual fine arts auction
The release said that tickets are still available for the school’s 25th Anniversary Celebration and Fine Arts Auction, to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Parson’s Point in Mathews.
Dinner will be by The Catering Company, with dancing to live music by Peyton Brabrand and the Josh Lief Band. There will be silent and live auctions.
