Shirley Wroten Jarvis, 79, of Bohannon, Va., passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman T. Jarvis.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Deitz, and her husband Freddie, and Vicky Green; one son, Lee Jarvis; four grandchildren, Dwayne Jackson, Kelley Spencer, Lindsay Deitz and Chelsea Jarvis; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane Thatch of Norfolk, Va.

The family received friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the funeral home chapel, burial followed in Providence Cemetery.
