A funeral for Shirley S. Vaughan-Allen, 71, of Gloucester, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Reedswood Christian Church, Gloucester. She died Jan. 27, 2014 at her home.

 

She was retired from Bennette Paint Company, and was a member of Reedswood Christian Church.

 

Survivors include her husband, Bradford Allen; son, Edward Scearce; a sister, Lucille Shipp Jones, and two grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church. The Rev. David Thornton will conduct the service. A committal service conducted by the Rev. Greg Wissinger will be held noon Saturday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, 1794 Richmond Road, Troy, Va. 22974.
