Sherry Lee Jackson McQuillen, age 76, of Gloucester Point, passed away at home surrounded by family, on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Sherry was born on December 20, 1947 to the late Elwood and Gertrude Martin Jackson in Salisbury, Maryland. Sherry was married to the love of her life, Robert “Mac,” for 57 years, until his death in 2021. Sherry and Mac had one son, Gary. Sherry and Mac opened Mac’s Automotive Repair in 1984 and she worked as the business administrator. She was a very straightforward lady who loved people, sewing, camping, playing cards and dancing, but most of all, she loved spending time with family and making her grandchildren happy. Sherry is survived by her son, Gary McQuillen, his wife Alison, and the apples of her eye—her grandchildren, Meaghan, and Matthew—and her special granddogs, Chloe, Sadie, Coco and Gracie.
