From its start in a one-room schoolhouse in 1884 (until 1892) to its present sanctuary with many additions, Severn Church located in the Robins Neck area has been an active part of Gloucester County.
Prove this to yourself; mark your calendar for Nov. 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the church. There you can enjoy yourself and see just what the approximately 150 members have to offer in the culinary and arts world. The ladies of the church, known as Joyful Hands, are holding their first Holiday Bazaar.
They have worked on this bazaar for weeks and weeks. You do not want to miss it. There will be foods to enjoy on site or take home, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, and home décor. “We have taken unwanted items and transformed them into something new and beautiful that others will treasure.”
