Services announced by local churches

Special services and other activities in churches this week, include the following:
Abingdon Episcopal
Ben Sheen will perform on the organ in an Arts at Abingdon concert to be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh. The concert is free and open to the public, a release stated.
Sunday’s Adult Forum will be at 9:15 a.m. Lachlan Hassman will speak on the contemporary issues in Anglicanism.
Lenten worship in the Celtic Tradition will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesdays during Lent. The worship is grounded in themes and elements from Celtic Christian traditions; prayer is more meditative and uses light/darkness as guide.
Soup supper will be offered at 5.
Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will continue to examine the journey of Lent with a reading from John 3:1-17 at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday services.
