Abingdon Episcopal
Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold worship services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. St. Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, will visit the children at the 10:30 service. At 9:30, Sunday school parishioners are asked to bring Nativity scenes to be blessed. An opening reception will follow the 10:30 service for “Christmas Around the World,” a very large display of creches.
Antioch Baptist
Antioch Baptist Church, Susan, will hold “Deacon Recognition Day” at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Sean Cummings of Friendship Baptist Church, Newport News, will be the guest speaker. Refreshments will follow the service.
