Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:
Antioch Baptist
The Rev. Julia Forrest of Antioch Baptist Church, Susan, will preach at 9 a.m. Sunday. The service will no longer be broadcast on Zoom but will be on Facebook Live at WEAREANTIOCH.
Wednesday prayer meetings will resume in January.
Apostles Lutheran
Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold a “Blue Christmas Service” at 7 o’clock tonight.
The church will hold the fourth Sunday in Advent service at 10 a.m. A coffee fellowship will follow the service. A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 7 p.m.
Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will offer three worship services on Sunday. The morning service will be at 10:30 and a family-friendly service with an impromptu Christmas pageant at 5 p.m. A traditional Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 7 o’clock.
