Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:
ABINGDON EPISCOPAL
Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Aug. 17, to explore a concept of providing music enrichment opportunities. Chris Evans will lead.
The church is open for silent prayer each Wednesday, noon-1 p.m.
ANTIOCH BAPTIST
Antioch Baptist Church, Susan, will hold a gospel concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday, as the start of Homecoming weekend. A picnic will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the area across from the church.
The Homecoming service is planned for 11 a.m. Sunday, in-person or Zoom, with an address by the Rev. Richard Lee Webb Sr. of Gaston, North Carolina.
Music Sunday will be provided by Evangelist Skipwith and Inspirations.
APOSTLES LUTHERAN
