Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:
Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will hold a homecoming celebration Sunday with one worship service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The Handbell Choir will be featured. The service will be followed by a barbecue pork and chicken dinner. The Praise Band will play, and activities are planned for children.
The Gloucester Women’s Bible Study will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Bethany United Methodist
The sermon title of Pastor Paul Song of Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday will be “Acts Chapter 29.”The Bethany Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The bazaar is free and open to the public, a release said. Tickets for the “Mistletoe and Munchies Preview” event on Friday, Nov. 11, are on sale now for $10 each. For more information or to purchase a ticket, call the church office at 804-642-2110.
