Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:
Bellamy United Methodist
Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, welcomes its new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Ed Walker, and his wife Sharon, on Sunday. He will speak at 9 a.m. casual worship in the outdoor pavilion (weather permitting) or the fellowship hall and traditional worship at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Bible study will be held at 9 and 10 in the parlor. Children’s Church will be offered during the 10 o’clock service. The Youth Group will meet at 11 o’clock. Real Life Families will meet at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
A church-wide welcome reception for the Walkers will be held next Sunday, July 10, following the 10 a.m. worship service.
Loaves and Britches (food/diaper pantry) will be open on the first Tuesday (July 5) from 9-11 a.m. at the church.
