Rick Ward of Gloucester, was installed as the American Legion Department of Virginia Sergeant at Arms for 2024-2025 at the state convention on July 13 in Herndon. Ward is a life member of the American Legion and has held many positions at the Post, District, and Department levels in Virginia. He has been assigned to the National Americanism Commission for three years and is a 2020 graduate of the National American Legion College.
