Serena Stovall Fischer of Gloucester, born February 5, 1961, passed on March 7, 2024, just after her 63rd birthday. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Stovall (France); her father, James Dillard Stovall, and her brother, Champe Stovall. She is survived by her husband, Lee; daughters, LaVonne Bonney (Ryan) and Karen Hunt (Eric); grandchildren, Pryor Bonney, Penny Hunt, and Vivian Hunt; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Fischer, and brother- and sister-in-law, Marc and Jo Anne.

Serena grew up in Newport News, Va., and was a graduate of Menchville High School. She enjoyed gathering her family together for holidays and meals, horses, gardening, chasing squirrels from her garden, and dabbling in various arts and crafts.
