Thursday, Sept. 17 is the deadline to receive comments on the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District’s 2021-2024 Strategic Plan. The district’s current mission statement is to promote the conservation of natural resources through stewardship, outreach and education.
“We encourage Mathews, Middlesex and Gloucester County residents to provide comments and suggestions on how Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District can successfully fulfill this mission,” a release from Tidewater SWCD stated.
The current strategic plan is available for review at www.tidewaterswcd.org/about_us.htm.You may also request the plan be mailed to you by calling at 804-699-3482 or emailing Shirley Tinker at stinker@tidewaterswcd.org.
