Below, oyster boat Delvin K in York River, 1967, on the way to purchase juvenile seed oysters being thinned by the state. In bottom photo, the ferry Virginia, one of the vessels serving the Gloucester Point-Yorktown ferry route over York River, was put out of business by opening of the Coleman Bridge in 1952.
