The Gloucester Sheriff’s Office is still looking for a second suspect in connection with a homicide Friday at Gloucester Point that took the life of a Lancaster resident.
The suspect being sought is 22-year-old Dustin Moore of Hampton. The GSO said it has charged him with first-degree murder (as a principal in the second degree), use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (as a principal in the second degree), attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The GSO said the other suspect, a 16-year-old male of Hampton, was arrested Sunday after turning himself in to the Hampton Police Division.
The GSO said the juvenile is charged with first-degree murder during the commission of a robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, and is being held in a juvenile detention center.
The GSO responded to Colonial Point Apartments on Colonial Point Lane at about 1 a.m. Friday regarding reports of gunshots. There they found a man who had been shot lying unconscious in the parking lot.
Rescue personnel arrived and determined that the man, later identified as Hezekiah Fauntleroy Jr., 20, of White Stone, was deceased, according to the GSO.
The GSO said Moore in considered a public safety threat and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or the crime itself is asked to call the GSO at 804-693-3890.
