Seabolt to run for Gloucester School Board

David Conway Seabolt, 57, has announced his candidacy in the November election for the Ware District seat on the Gloucester County School Board.
“I’ve got a heart for children,” said Seabolt.
After learning about troubles among school boards across the country, Seabolt was inspired to run for a seat on his local school board.
If elected, Seabolt would make “quality education for our children” one of his main goals. He would like the main subjects of English, science, history and math to be prioritized. He also wants students to be able to learn “how to make a living.”
In addition to education, Seabolt would like Gloucester County Public Schools to be “a safe place to learn.” If elected, he aims to work with Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office to make the schools safer and improve any current safety plans.Seabolt is also for parental rights. He believes that parents should know about anything that happens in the schools, and the parents should have a say in what happens in the schools.
