Eric Carlson, director of the Virginia Screenwriters Forum, will be the guest speaker at the Chesapeake Bay Writers luncheon meeting at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the Center Street Grill in Williamsburg. Social hour begins at 11 a.m.
Carlson, a Virginia-based screenwriter, has a passion for creating captivating stories, said a press release. He has two projects in development with production companies, and his screenplays have been successful at a broad number of film festivals. Carlson will discuss the topic “From Script to Screen,” about moving a screenplay from inception to production through the Hollywood maze.
The cost to attend the luncheon meeting is $21 for members; $26 for guests. Reservations are required by Sept. 17 at www.chesapeakebaywriters.org.
