The Gloucester County School Board made several appointments during its Sept. 14 meeting. The following persons were appointed to teaching positions for the 2010-2011 school year: Pamela Parks, Melissa Clark and Cindy Lanning, all of Gloucester; and Colleen Howard of Richmond.
Bernadette Coates of Hayes, was appointed as a teacher assistant. Appointed to support services positions were Robert Pickral, Edna Rhodes and David Seabolt, all of Gloucester; Larry Burrell of Ordinary; Ellmast Clay of Hayes; and Ellen Davis-Johnson of Hartfield. The board accepted resignations from support employees Betty DeAlba and Melissa Hudgins.
Among coaching positions paid by supplement, Alison Mazzuca was appointed as the field hockey coach at Page Middle School; John Schick Jr. was appointed as an assistant football coach at Gloucester High School, and Granville Jones and Gloria Woodlen were appointed as assistant basketball coaches at Peasley Middle School.
