At the close of the Gloucester County School Board’s regular monthly meeting Tuesday night and following a short recess, a town hall meeting was opened for Gloucester residents to raise their questions and concerns to the board on a variety of contentious topics.
Anticipating the issues citizens would bring up, the board created a brief presentation prior to the meeting that covered these topics. These included the treatment of transgender students; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Critical Race Theory; Standards of Learning and other curriculum information; the African American History elective course, and the wearing of masks in school. Board chair Robin Rice served as the presenter of these topics.
