The Gloucester County School Board started Tuesday night’s meeting in a brand-new format that includes student and volunteer recognitions, as well as student projects. The September meeting was held in the T.C. Walker Education Center.
Part of this new format included having a student pledge leader. This month’s pledge leader, Wrenn Gauthier of Achilles Elementary School, led the school board. Gauthier is an avid reader, a performer and a Girl Scout.
In student awards, Renner Andersen was recognized as the Gloucester High School Senior of the Month. Andersen is an honor student, an officer in the International Thespian Society, a singer in the GHS chorus, a swimmer on the school’s swim team, and a volunteer for the Court House Players and Arts on Main.
Lauren Noehl was recognized as the Volunteer of the Month. She has served on the Achilles Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for the past five years. She is a high school math teacher in York County. She has been involved in several ...
