Looking at Gwynn’s Island from “A Different Point of View,” Janet Burgess of Mathews will debut her new scavenger hunt book on Saturday at May Faire.
Mathews County Gwynn’s Island Scavenger Hunt, written and illustrated by Burgess, follows a Mathews Court House scavenger hunt which appeared last year.
The book features images of buildings and subjects found on Gwynn’s Island along with information regarding the current and former life of the subjects. The images are of a different view of each subject. For the scavenger hunt, participants will search for the site using clues given to assist in the hunt.
There is also a listing of all exterior AEDs in the county.
Those completing the form can take it to a business listed on the page, exchanging it for a discount offered by the business.
