We have a very important election coming up that is critical to our children’s education and our community as a whole.
Cindy Saulman, most know Cindy as our children’s DARE officer, has stepped up to the plate to dedicate herself to serving our children and community once again. Cindy is a lifelong resident, married 45 years to her husband, Harry (retired shipyard), has two children who attended GCPS and she has six grandchildren. She served for 38 years with the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office and retired as a Master Deputy in June of 2022. Additionally, 29 of her 38 years with the sheriff’s office were dedicated to our children’s safety, health and education as our DARE officer, putting her in our schools each and every day supporting our children, families and teachers in a very positive way.
