Gloucester County School Board member Cindy Saulman was the guest speaker at the March 28 meeting and luncheon of the Gloucester Retired Educators Association.
According to a press release, Saulman shared her life story with the 30 members in attendance, discussing in detail how the events of her life motivated her to become a Gloucester County deputy and then a school board member. She was a deputy for 38 years, spending 29 of those years in the DARE program.
Saulman said God placed the right people in her life at the right time, said the release, especially people from her local church and school. She said that one should “never underestimate the value of an educator.”
The role of the school board was another topic of discussion, said the release, with Saulman speaking about current topics being discussed and events taking place.
