Sarah Isabella Harris of Gloucester, died on Feb. 2, 2023. She was born on Oct. 26, 1941 to George W. and Helen R. Powell. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Sarah enjoyed driving school buses for Gloucester Co. Transportation for more than 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byard W. Harris Sr.; son, Joseph R. Harris (Angie); granddaughter, Melissa Buvel, and sister, Helen (Teeny) Manuel.

Sarah is survived by her siblings, William Powell, George T. Powell, and Carolyn Hodge; children, Byard Harris Jr. (LuAnn), Ben Harris Sr. (Teresa), Teresa Harper (Raymond), and Joyce Whay (Bryan); grandchildren, Ben Harris Jr. (Carrie), Kasey Maurice (Stephan), Aaron Harris (Monica), Bryan Harris, Justin Harris, Bethanie Rose (Thomas), Samantha Whay, Raymond Harris, Sabrina Altman (Nick), Natalie Whay, Shelby Harris, Savanna Harris and Sarah Belle Harris, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, where funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Gloucester.
