Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Inc., will resume its annual Santa Runs tradition this Friday. The scheduled route for Friday is the Guinea area and roads off the left side of Lillaston Lane. The following Friday, Dec. 2, Santa will be traveling on the right side of Lillaston Lane through Tidemill to Gloucester Point and back to Bellehaven Drive. On Dec. 9, Santa will travel from Bellehaven Drive north to Linda Circle. The final Santa Run on Dec. 16 will see Santa and Mrs. Claus traveling from Linda Circle to the Coke and Glass areas. Schedules are weather dependent.
