Santa Run reunites Gloucester family with caregivers

Bound by their shared grief and the love that blossomed between them during the final months of Kayleigh Jones’s all-too-short life, members of the Jones family of Gloucester and the caregivers at Edmarc reunited recently as Edmarc took part in a Santa Run in the county.
Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue joined Edmarc’s Santa Runs across Hampton Roads, where they gave gifts to Edmarc patients and their families.
Named after Marcus Hogge and Edward Page, Edmarc (founded in 1978) is a pediatric hospice located in Portsmouth. One of the Edmarc families they delivered to this year is the Jones family.
The Joneses came across Edmarc through their pediatrician. Edmarc provided care for Kayleigh Jones and her family for about six months.
