Sandra Jones Chapman, (Sandi), went to be with her Lord on May 15, 2012 after battling a long illness.

Sandi was born May 5, 1949 in Greeneville, Tenn. She lived her adult life in Mathews County and Richmond, Va.

Sandi was preceded in death by her father, Cleve Jones and a brother, Hugh (Junior) Harmon.

She is survived by her two children, a daughter, Elizabeth Searfoss and her husband Jeff and their son Nathan, and a son, Robert Chapman Jr., all of Richmond; her mother, Dossie M. Harmon of Mathews; one brother, Charles Jones of Greeneville; three sisters, Brenda Duffie of Danville, Va., Doreen Harmon and Susie Harmon of Mathews; nieces, Randa Williams and Blair Jones, and nephews, Josh Jones and Jollie Duffie and wife Laurie; a special grand-niece, Halle Duffie, and a
special grand-nephew, Cole Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at Westville Baptist Church, Mathews.
