Lester Sterling, from the Samaritan Group of Gloucester, addressed the members of the Abingdon Ruritan Club at the club’s June 12 meeting. Sterling talked about how his organization benefits needy Gloucester residents. The group’s goal is to aid those in our community who need financial assistance to help with power, car repairs, rent and other necessities.
