The holiday season will be here before you know it, and the Salvation Army is looking for bell ringers for its annual Red Kettle Campaign.
According to Nicole Watson, case manager for the Salvation Army’s Gloucester Service Center, just 60 minutes of bell ringing can yield enough in donations to feed 13 people. “Our Red Kettle fundraiser is one of the largest donation sources that provides assistance for needy and low-income residents of Gloucester and Mathews,” Watson said.
This year, the Salvation Army is implementing protocols to ensure the health and safety of its bell ringers in the midst of the current pandemic.
