Among the traveling men registered at Hotel Mathews the past week were: J.R Butler, A.C. Fitzhugh, Overall, Hart, Renzie, Davidson, Symcoe, Comick, MacDonald, Major.
Mr. Robert Lee Sears has just returned with a full and up-to-date line of Dry Goods, Notions, Millinery and Shoes, and invites the public to call and look them over.

School pupils doing their bit, as this article shows sufficient evidence of the enthusiasm of school children in Mathews when they are called upon for a loan. It comes from Winter Harbor School, of which Miss Iris Brooks is the teacher, the number of pupils in the school being twenty-five. The first three purchased Liberty Bonds to the extent of $50 each: Lady Brownley, Kathleen Williams and Virginia Diggs.
The next three are purchasers of War Saving Stamps to the extent of $20.80 each; Elwood Hudgins, Bradley Hudgins and Lorain Hur...
