A memorial service was held for Ruth Delores King, 59, of Hayes, at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gloucester Point Baptist Church. She died Nov. 16, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack R. Jr. and Lorraine S. Jenkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Helena King; brothers, Bernard Jenkins, Fred Jenkins and Frankie Jenkins.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Ray Goude Jr. The family received friends prior to the service at the church.
