Ruritan Zone 4 Governor Don Sandridge, above right, installed the 2025 Gloucester Ruritan Club officers at its November meeting held at Anna’s Pizza. Below, 2024 president Bill Naquin thanked club member Henry Thompson (aka “Hay Seed Hank”) for his presentation to the club on “Spare the Wasp.” Hay Seed Hank emphasized the value of wasps as good pollinators and enemies of garden pests. Sandridge also presented Naquin with five Gold Committee Service Awards representing 3,194 member volunteer hours last year for the areas of Social Development, Public Service, Environment, Citizenship and Patriotism and Community Engagement.
