The 14th annual 8K and 3K run/walk, sponsored by the Gloucester County Public Schools Educational Foundation, will be held Saturday. In-person events begin at 9:30 a.m. at Gloucester High School, which will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Gloucester High School. A virtual 5K option is available and can be completed between now and Saturday.
The run/walk will raise funds for the 2025 Teacher of the Year Recognition, as well as classroom mini-grants that will be awarded in December, the foundation said. Mini-grants, which are up to $500 each, cover a wide range of classroom needs addressing advanced technology, arts, reading, special education, etc. These grants can be used over multiple years to enhance the educational experience of Gloucester County students.
