Rotary donates $36,000 to community in fiscal year

Mathews Rotary, through the fundraising efforts it conducts all year, was able to give $36,000 in support to community projects during its past fiscal year.
Non-profit organizations receiving funds were The Owens Center at Williams Wharf, Christmas Store, YMCA, Sheriff’s Office, Mathews Volunteer Fire Dept., Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, Historical Museum, Hands Across Mathews, Boys State, Girls State, MCVIC, Rise As One Foundation, TRIAD, After Prom Committee, Christmas Blessing Fund, Mathews Main Street, Read, Rise and Shine, Mathews Outdoor Club, Gloucester Mathews Humane Society, Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic, Mathews Little League, THMS Nature Trail, Middle/High School All VA Band, High School Football Team uniforms and Mathews Social Services school supplies.
