Rotary Chili Cook-off

What better way to get ready for Super Bowl Sunday than to enjoy Chili Bowl Saturday? A large crowd came out to the Piankatank Ruritan Club building in Hudgins on a rainy Saturday night to enjoy some of the best chili around as representatives from the Mathews Land Conservancy, Mathews Museum, Bay School Community Arts Center, Mathews Kiwanis Club, Farmers Focus/Supply One and the host Mathews Rotary Club battled for the title of Best Chili at the Rotary’s ninth annual Chili Cook-off.
