Rosemary R. Evans, 67, of Mathews, passed away on March 12, 2012 surrounded by those who loved her.

She was born July 15, 1944 in Mathews, and was preceded in death by her parents, G. Glenson Evans and Nellie Jarvis Evans, and her brother, John G. Evans, all of Susan, Va.

Rosemary was a pure and loving soul who loved to sing and always had a smile and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by her niece and nephews, Anna Evans Inge, Jared and Aaron of Mathews, Chris and Gin Evans, Caroline and Ethan of Port Haywood, and Wayne Evans of Mobjack.

She was loved and supported by the wonderful ladies at Sola who took the greatest care of her and that she loved unconditionally.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery, Susan.

Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, was in charge of arrangements.
