Ronald James Keatts, age 84, of Hampton, died at Gloucester House on Friday, September 1, 2023. Ronald was born on July 25, 1939 to the late Alva and Libby Thompson Keatts from Danville, Virginia. After high school, he graduated from Thomas Nelson Community College and got an associate’s degree which he was very proud of. He worked for 37 years at Newport News Shipbuilding as an Outside Machinist. In his free time, he enjoyed flying model airplanes and building Hot Rod Cars. Ronald is survived by his son, Christopher Kenneth Keatts; stepdaughters, Cynthia and Teresa, and stepson, James “Ziggy.”
