Singer/songwriter Mark Rogers will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Arts on Main in Gloucester. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with beer and wine available for purchase.
A singer/songwriter who has been writing and performing since 1974, Rogers is an original member of Tennessee Flying Goose, one of Washington, D.C.’s top bluegrass bands of the 1970s.
In the early 1980s, Rogers moved to Los Angeles where he kept performing a mix of originals and covers with a new band.
Although he never really let it go, Rogers “controlled” his craft for a couple of decades while raising a family in the 1990s and early 2000s, a release stated. In 2010, he moved to Williamsburg. On June 15, he released his second EP, “Qualifiers.”
Tickets are $15 in advance, available for purchase at www.gloucesterarts.org, by e-mailing reservations@gloucesterarts.org, or by calling 804-824-9464. They are $20 at the door.
