Roderick Allen Blacken, 71, of Mathews, died on Thursday, July 27, 2023.

Survivors include his sisters, Muriel Blacken and Emma M. Blacken.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, is in charge of arrangements.
