An opening reception will be held for The HeART of Rock & Roll, an exhibit featuring artwork that centers around a rock and roll theme, from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 30 at the Bay School Community Arts Center on Main Street in Mathews. Fifteen artists used rock songs or rock and roll themes as inspiration or even depicted recognizable musicians. Featured work includes hanging art, fiber art, pottery and jewelry.
