A funeral for Roberta Oretta Williams Farina of Gloucester, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15 at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh. She died June 12, 2014.
She was born Feb. 25, 1928 in Inglewood, Calif., and was raised and educated in Missouri. She had been a Gloucester resident for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Farina volunteered at Walter Reed Hospital Emergency Room and was a docent at the Gloucester Museum of History. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Abingdon Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil H. and Helen Hickey Williams; brother, Col. V.H. Williams; husband, James G. Farina, and son, James N. Farina.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Kuntz; two grandchildren, and twin great-grandsons.
The service was conducted by the Rev. Sven vanBaars and interment followed in the church cemetery.
Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
