A memorial service for Robert Overbey Rowe, 58, of Williamsburg, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Wren Chapel of the College of William and Mary. He died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013.

A native of Gloucester, he was born April 20, 1955 to Mary O. Rowe and Edward L. Rowe who, along with his brother, Edward L. Rowe Jr., preceded him in death.

He graduated from Gloucester High School, was a certified Machine Tool Operator and worked for Colonial Williamsburg as a blacksmith for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Patricia Vandermark-Rowe and two children.

A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg.
