Robert John Lane, 28, of Gloucester, passed away on July 11, 2023. He was employed at Hampton Roads Sanitation Department as an electrician.

He was a family man and looking forward to being a part of Olivia’s life and being a family man. He loved to make people laugh and was a devoted Mustang man.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Lane, and grandmother, Marie Ford, and is survived by his wife, Kristy Lane; daughter, Olivia Lane; mother, Theresa Roberts (Archie); father, Shawn Lane (Roberta); mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Keith Bessert; grandfather, Billy Ford, and nephew, Waylon Adams.

There was a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, July 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester.
