Robert Gary Records of Moon, was born on Aug. 28, 1943 in Stamford, Connecticut, and passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, surrounded by family at the age of 79. Bob was an avid sportsman and found great pleasure in fishing and boating in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. He was a Vietnam veteran and one of the country’s first ASE-certified Master Automobile Technicians. Bob worked for Nissan Motor Corporation for 35 years and retired in 2005. Bob loved modified race cars and attending NASCAR racing events at tracks along the East Coast. Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rita; his two sons, Charles (Makalia) and Michael (Allison), and four grandchildren, Chandler, Carter, Riley, and Cameron. Bob is also survived by his two brothers, Rex (Kathleen) and Wayne (JoAnne), and two sisters, Beverly (Ron) and Dorothy (Bill). The family will hold a private ceremony honoring his life.
